Young Eagles Rally
International Young Eagles Day June 11 2005
Once again the weather forecast was wrong, and in our favor! Instead of
very low clouds and scattered showers we got real mid-summer weather:
hazy, hot and humid. The "hazy" part greatly limited site-seeing visibility
but the air was calm and flying was good. A enthusiatic group of five
pilots took up 16 new Young Eagles, with able assistance from our
chapter ground crew.
